Acquiring a magic wand to turn Bagpuss into a set of Bagpipes!

Mini's used to have magic wands but they took them away because Mini drivers kept casting too many magic spells! Mini's magic wand was replaced with a remote gear change system, consisting of a selector shaft and a stabiliser bar which links the remote stick housing to the gearbox.

Despite the ability to cast magic spells and turn massive traffic jams into ham sandwiches, changing gear with a magic wand wasn't very good at all. This is why there was less congestion in the sixties and seventies. Mini's magic wand got rid of it all and turned it into ham sandwiches, which everyone used to eat! Now we have more traffic jams and fewer ham sandwiches because they took Mini's magic wand away!

Mini's have cross members (that the seats bolt to) which used to be particularly fond of the magic wand! Although back in the olden days they were just called members, they became cross because the magic wand was taken away!

Don't worry, if I did have a magic wand I wouldn't really use it to turn Bagpuss into a set of Bagpipes. I wouldn't use it to change gear either!
